Dd is 5. She had a small cold, I gave her cough medicine before going to work tonight( only about 4 hour) dh tucked her into bed and went to bed. I got home and went in to check on her and she was laying on the floor with her pillow and using her jacket as a blanket. Her bed was made too. Wtf happened? I woke her up and asked why she was on the floor she said she didn’t know and that she had laid in her bed not on the floor. I put the baby monitor in her room. Our family dog ( which is more like hers) is with her. It’s just so weird.

The weird thing is her bed was even made! I woke up dh to tel him and he was so confused because he had tucked her in to her bed. She always asks for kiss and prayer so I know he tucked her in.

Carmen- her dh ticked their daughter into bed meaning she was laying under the covers. When she got home her daughter was laying on the floor AND THE BED WAS MADE. That’s when you know it’s time to burn down the house. I would have left her sleep with me.

When I was a baby my mum would find me wrapped in my swaddle in the middle of the room fast asleep, she lived alone. She said that the day she heard a little kid crying mummy (I was 3 months old) she threw my stuff in a bag and caught a bus to my nans. She paid rent for the next month and never went back.

It sounds like sleep walking to me. Maybe from cold medicine or maybe just because. It's not uncommon. My sister would do wierd things like that and have full sleep conversations with me that she couldn't remember. I guess I don't jump on the haunted train when there's other explanations first.
