I need someone to t me where they got their dna kit. Like paternity test kit. My mom and dad have been married for like 23 years. Well, my dad suddenly tell my mom that he doesn’t think I’m his. My mom says she has 1000% certainty that I’m his. She had only been with one guy before my dad and that was about a year before my mom and dad started dating. I dont know how I feel about it , like what if for some crazy reason I’m now his? Does he not love me anymore? I’m 24 years old. He raised me wtf?

I would look up “paternity DNA kit” and read reviews, information on them, or whatever else. See which fits what you want.

The only DNA test Id trust is the court ordered one completed by professionals. I'm super-eery of the ones you do yourself, bc there's been a lot of stories of those being inaccurate due to possible mis-contamination, etc.

So my mom's fiance just found out he has a daughter that he didn't ever know about. She's 20 and lives in another state. He contacted dnacenter.com. it was around $450. She was able to go to a testing center in her state and he found one here in CA. The testing centers are various hospitals or medical offices. They both got a mouth swab done and it was sent to a lab. Results came back in 2 days. It was a legal document because he got a certified copy of the test and was able to be added to her birth certificate. I wouldn't trust any kind of home test.

If you just want a cheap one you can buy them at basically any pharmacy. Just swab everyone's cheek and send everything back. It's pretty simple to do and I know a few people who used them and they're pretty accurate. Cost about $100 I believe.

I bought one off of amazon and then you mail the samples in and it cost $89 for the results. It only took about a week total with the mailing time and the results come in 48 hours once they receive the kit.

You can also buy them at drug stores like Walgreens. Then you just mail on the results.
