Help please
I have a friend visiting with her 5mo dd. She is breast fed but mom can't eat any gluten, spices, regular milk, breads, wheat, and who knows what else. We have tried multiple formulas but she will still spit up a lot and sometimes have blood in her still. Dr said there's nothing to do for her. What other formulas are there for her to try???

I'm confused. If she is breastfed, why are you asking about formulas?

I have a friend who has celiacs and neither of her kids could have her milk. She ended up needing special prescription formula. A doctor that says "there's nothing you can do" needs to lose their license imo. If that baby has allergies, which seems probable, they need to find something that isn't tearing their insides up!

She breast feeds because it's the only thing that won't make her poop so much blood bit she still has a lot of spitting up and stool problems. So we want to look for a formula that she could eat to stop breast feeding because of all the problems.

Alimentum is what it's called. Here's a list of formulas good for different allergies or multiple allergies.

Change the Dr immediately if thwres blood in baby's stool. That's not good
