Why I hate the gym during the busy day time
I feel like I'm being judged. I've been going to the gym for about 3 months and I've made progress but I still feel like I'm being judged every time I walk to a new machine i hate it ? and I always feel like it's more the women than men.

That's why I've never worked out in my life. I'm really insecure, and even though it's about personal improvement, I just kinda care if I'm being judged.

Don't worry about it. You're doing what's best for u let them judge away!! Who cares what people think heck at least you're working out it's better then me lol

Stare back at them with judging eyes and get your work out on. Your there like everyone else to get to a body goal you have.

Anyone who has the time and energy to judge you at the gym is a person who's opinion is of absolutely no value.

I'm sorry...I often feel the same way...in my case, it's mostly in my own head, no one actually cares...but getting past myself can be hard...

Brush it off! We are all in the gym for the same reasons.. No matter our size or body shapes

I used to work out late at night for this reason! I hate working out in front of lots of people and I sweat so easily ? lol

Guys, 99% of those people are probably not judging you. Most come to the gym focused on themselves and their workout. Don't worry.

I felt like that at first but after awhile I realized everyone is there to work on themselves and 9/10 they dont care about or really notice other people unless they are waiting for a machine or weights.

I will say I judge the people who sit on the machines and do nothing for 10 min but play on their phone (as in not doing any reps at all) or the people who try to claim 2 or 3 machines at the same time and wont let anyone else use them even when they arent

I went to the gym and did my thing and didn't give a care. As some point or another they were all first and new at it too. You keep it up and remember how it makes you feel, so you know what not to do when someone else comes in that's new:) maybe offer to workout with them and help em out:) make a good friend that way too!!:) keep it up!!!:)

You've gotta remember that most times people are feeling the same way and are being insecure, like thinking you're judging them. If they aren't thinking that, the last thing they're thinking is about others at the gym. I tend to read up on the news, this baby app, listen to my favorite music, watch shows or snaps while doing cardio. Between reps I'll change a song or do a quick snap. Just keep improving yourself and don't worry about others.

I used to be the same way! I would only do certain machines or cardio machines because I felt so awkward at the gym and felt like people judge, but honestly nobody is probably paying attention everybody is there working on themselves. Just let go of all those negative thoughts and enjoy some me time and get in there, kick your own ass, and dont think about anybody else while you're there and don't let if affect your workout! Get it girl!

Focus on working out and don't pay attention to other people. I know its easier said than done though I only workout in a small women's only section and I feel like others also do for the same reasons.

I think it's in your head. When I see fit people my eyes automatically fall to them. When I see people on the heavier side I think to myself dang it's awesome that they are here to work on theirselves so they can feel better or be healthier. After those few seconds of thinking that I just continue my workout.

I'm really anti social. But I go everyday for 2hrs. I'm not worried about judgement. I just don't want anyone to talk to me lol. I often chose the treadmill that's in the middle of two out of order ones.. problem solved for now unless they fix them. Then I'll just have to deal lol

Its all in your head. I promise. Everyone is there to do their own thing. I just started this month at the gym, and it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I thought everyone would be judging me as well. Now I don't care. I'm there to better myself just like they are. We had a guy give us tips yesterday!
I just hate when groups of people stand by machines just to talk. Those people I give the side eye to. Listen, its leg day, I need to get it done and over with so I can hit up my massage chair!

I can promise you that after working out for two years now, when I look at other woman, it's always along the lines of "she looks great " , "I should remember that exercise", "good for you for going and tying". I've never looked at a woman and put her down.

I don't feel judge when I work out but when it's busy/full I feel like people just circle you wait for you to get done on a machine... I've had people bug me to use a machine in the middle of me using it.
