Dds teacher called me this morning because she was complaining of eye pain and her eye was droopy. I picked up dd and she is acting fine talking,playing, eating. She was rubbing her eye but nothing else she said that is was hurting a little but not anymore. Any guesses what it could be?

Looks smaller like the lid is a little swollen. A stye maybe?

Get her to stop rubbing her eye and put a warm cloth over it.

Pink eye??? My ds2 had pink eye last week and started like this. Swollen, itching.

Styes usually cause redness on the lid as well. I wouldn't risk it with an eye issue and would be going to the doctor.

It does look swollen but I'd get a drooping eyelid looked at in a heartbeat.

Just as pp said. Why risk her eye sight take her to urgent care or the doctor.

it could be the start of pink eye or a stye try to keep giving her eye drops like visine or something that would prevent it from getting worse especially if its pink eye

I agree my kids have had sty and it was red or at least puffy in a specific area of the lash line don't risk it
