Ombré and baylage are two different techniques. Ombré wouldn't be hard to do by yourself if you've have training. If you aren't experienced in hair care/cosmetology, I wouldn't attempt at home.

I don't think it would be something to do yourself. I'm a hair dresser and I am still trying to perfect both. It's really not as easy as some people make it look.

As a hairstylist let me just tell you about at home balayage and ombré ??. You will waste your time and end up having to go to the salon to get it fixed lol.

Yes listen to the pps...I *tried* to do a homemade ombré and I ended up looking like an orange.

I've done ombré on myself many times and I have zero training. It wasn't easy by any means but it was was doable. I would never in my life even consider doing balayage myself.
