I miss my mom already
I'm just venting. It's probably stupid but my mom came to visit us this weekend. She lives about 2 hours away. She just left and I sobbed like a baby. I talk to her everyday but I'm always afraid that I won't see her again. She had a small stroke 2 years ago and every single day I pray and hope it won't happen again. She's my best friend. And I can't live without her. I only ever hope to be as great as a mother as she is to me. We spend at least an hour on the phone every single day and I can't help but cry when I think of what if something happens to her? Who am I going to call to talk to? Who am I going to ask how to make a dish, or what to do with the sick kids? I need my mommy. Oh how I wish I would have cherished more the times I lived with her or all the advice she eve gave me.

That is so sweet. I wish more people would appreciate their moms more. (I totally understand in the case if your mom was abusive and what not)
I lost my mom when I was 16, I hope your mom will be around for many more years.

I love this post.
The thought of not having my parents one day scares the heck out of me. They are the absolute best and I am so thankful for them everyday.

No matter how old we are, we never like to hear our parents say goodbye... even if they can drive us crazy while they're with us.
My mom had strokes, bad enough that she's not 100% there... But she's a lot happier these days and sees most of her grandkids every other weekend. I take comfort in that, and I think that'll be a big comfort to me when she does pass.
My dad, though... Can't even think about it.

She is my everything. I'm so sad that I don't see her more. I want her to live with me!!
