He refuses to go with anyone at all. Only 3 people my mom, dh, and a family friend. If we have family over he refuses to go with them and cries horribly till either I or dh get him. I just can't deal with it today dhs aunt said I need to stop nursing him because that's why he's so clingy to me. I just smiled and walked away. Ds will play and walk around but I have to be in his sight or he loses it. Even when we are home alone I just hate it because I can't get things done sometimes. And family want to hold him but he won't let anyone touch him. The dr said t was just stranger danger a more severe one but that it was fine. What can I do to help him ?

I think it's pretty normal. My son hates to be away from me. Lately it's like he knows if I'm about to leave. He sees me grab my purse and keys and I hand him to df, he will instantly start crying and reaching for me. I just have to entertain him with toys and sneak out.
I don't have any advice though.

Very normal. It just really depends on the kiddo. I have one really outgoing child and one shy clingy child who were raised the same way. Stopping nursing won't help anything, I just let him get comfortable with people on his terms. It took him a little longer than I thought but now he's all about it!

My youngest nephew is exactly like that. He didn't like anyone but his dad and mom and younger aunt on his dad's side. He's 2 now and just last week he has finally be wanting to go with me when I pick up his brother and sister. It seriously shocked me. Just give him time...
His brother(4) and sister(5) have been very outgoing and loved everybody at a young age.

Hanks ladies it's just so frustrating to deal with sometimes and his family gets all pissy about it and upset. They don't like me nursing him at such an 'old' age. He's 13 months ??

I don't know about you but my family only visits every couple of weeks. It's not often enough for dd to get used to them. She's 14 months and doesn't want anyone holding her but me or DH. It's understandable.
Separation anxiety is at it's peak at 12-18 months.
Weather you breastfeed or not is not the issue.
