Bumping, and also following. My son is teething and I was wondering the same thing.

They work differently for every kid. I bought one for my daughter the difference was HUGE. She was in so much pain and was drooling like crazy...it takes like a week for the necklace to start working...but once it did she was soooo much better. You have to make sure it's a legit Amber necklace though...not a stone necklace with Amber colored beads. There are a lot of those online and they won't do anything.

I heard they were dangerous, however I'm not sure

DD has worn one for a few weeks now and it's worked. When she got her first two teeth she was cranky from the time she woke up till she went to sleep. She currently has two more teeth coming in and she just been clingy. NOTHING compared to the first time. But even if it doesn't work it's still a very pretty piece of jewelry.
