I've thought about it and I've looked into it, since my employer offers it as a supplemental extra, at our cost of course. They have a lot of different plans. I'm still not sure it's worth the monthly cost yet for us but it's very tempting.
I would have the short term disability to pay for maternity leave, but I'm already pregnant, and my work offers it. But I've heard extremely great things about Aflac, and all money goes to you not to the medical bills and then you pay what you need to out of it
I used to work for Aflac. They are a really great company but you don't need all their insurance. If your husband is the only one that works I would suggest short-term disability, just in case. Depending on what he does, long term disability may be a good investment as well. The accident policy is good but if you never have any accidents it can be a waste of money, as can the sickness policy. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions. My parents have it, and it has been amazing for them. Even thought there insurance covers everything they still get a cash sum from Aflac.
