urgent help! Dd 3y says her vagina hurts I looked at it and it looks red I cleaned it with a wipe…

Could be if she pee and doesn't wipe well , I know that when my dd urine wasnt diluted from not drinking alot of water it was red and had a Lil blood , but it went away.

She could just have a yeast infection or irritation from moisture the blood could be from scratching

Maybe a uti? Does it burn to pee?

She just says it hurts... I asked her if it hurts to pee first she said no then she said yes... I called the after hours nurse I'm waiting for a call back

I would take her in to have her checked out. Not an Er visit from the sounds of it, but doctor first thing in the morning.

Like pp said call her dr in the morning. Put a cool rag on it for a while. You don't want to traumatize her in the ER with a strange doctor and nurses looking down there. She might be more relaxed with her own pediatrician she has seen before.

When I was younger, in kindergarten I used to get bladder infections and it was very very painful to pee, and when I did there was always blood.

Could be a labial adhesion. My 4 year old has had them since birth and recently had to have surgery to get it apart. She complained of discomfort a lot when she had one. Usually it's as easy as an estrogen ointment if it is in fact a labial adhesion

The nurse called back and advised me to run a warm bath with a few TBS of baking soda. That's what I did, she said it feels better but I will be taking her to her Dr tomorrow. Thank you so much ladies. I was worried about the worst thing.
