I have a chevy cruze too and have a Eddie Bauer infant seat behind the passager seat and it leaves noo room! I think with that car the base takes up most space, putting it in the middle would help with room a little bit though, at least for the passage seat to beable to go back

I got a Chicco Nextfit because our Graco MyRide 65 was too big to fit rear facing behind the seats in my Ford Escape (it's asmall SUV with the backseat space of a compact car). We had two Nextfits both rear facing behind seats for a while, they fit great.

I'm looking at attempting three across and all my research is pointing toward the Diono Radian because it's very narrow.

Maxi Cosi, Nuna, or Cybex.

We have a 2012 Ford Focus hatchback, aka like no backseat room, and our graco snugride 30 fit back there with ease. Zero complaints on size for that one.

It wasn't until we upgraded to the britax Boulevard that space became a lot more of an issue. Still doable!!! But tight.

I have a Chicco nextfit which is smaller, it's heavy though. That being said, if u go to babies r us they let u take the car seats to ur car and try them out, u just have to leave ur license at customer service while u do it.

I've had/have Maxi Cosi and Nuna and they are both on the narrow side. My favorite is my Nuna
