How soon is too soon? I just had a baby 15 weeks ago and my husband and I are thinking about trying…

I'm pregnant with my second due Nov 3rd and my daughter is about 20 months. I would definitely talk to your doctor or midwife before trying. Even though you feel fine your body has been through a lot and may need more time to heal.

I bf my daughter until she was 15 months, however I didn't get my cycle back until she started to sleep through the night which wasn't until she turned 1.

I got pregnant when my son was 10 months old. He turned 1 in August. When new baby gets here it'll be a 19 month age gap. I'm due in march. I'm 15 weeks along now. He was formula fed so I got my period back 2 months post partum

My first 2 were 16 almost 17 months apart. I love their bond. But it has been super trying on my patience and parenting dealing with 2 this young at once. My youngest will be almost 2 and a half when baby #3 comes and i feel it will make a big difference

My son is almost 4 my daughter is 2 when my son was 6 months old I found out I was pregnant with my daughter so there a year apart and both there pregnacy's were really easy so with baby # 3 is on the way I'm hoping for the same with this one!

The Dr will probably tell you to wait a year. You can feel great but your body has to recover too which usually takes a year. Plus having a baby so close in age like that you can have problems like your cervix being shorten or the umbilical cord being short. Your baby is only 15 weeks old. Give the baby some time.before trying again and try when baby is closer to a year. I would say to try around 10 months or later for another if you want them super close.

Defiantly worth chatting to your OB and midwife as they usually recommend giving your body time to heal, if you've had a c-sec the time between pregnancies is usually recommended to be longer as it takes time for scar tissue to be at a safer level in order to have a healthy pregnancy.

My daughter was just under six months old and I went to the doctor because I was absolutely and thoroughly exhausted. I thought I was anemic. Doctor said I probably wasn't eating enough to breastfeed one baby, make a whole new baby and keep myself running. WHAT???? So yeah two of my four kids (3g 1b) are pretty close together in age. They early years were hard but they are now 11 and 10 and are great mates.

First off I would talk to your OB before you start trying. Second it takes about a year for your body to fully recover from pregnancy. You might already feel great, but your body is till healing.

If you’re ready for #2 go for it, I was ready for #2 when my first was 4 months old too but I waited a year because my Ob suggested that I wait a year since I had a csection. It took us between 4 and 6 months to conceive my 2nd (not sure when we started “trying”) but my kids are 23 months apart and they are best buds but they also fight all day lol. I would do it all over again too.

I mean, it’s truly up to you & what you think is best for your family. However, it takes a long time for your body to heal after childbirth. My neighbor got pregnant 3 months after having her son and her daughter was born premature at 6months. There’s just some risks associated with not allowing your body to heal. But I’m sure there’s plenty of stories of perfectly healthy close pregnancies.

I can't wait to start ttc for my second!!! My daughter is not quite 6 months and I am so ready for another... As soon as I'm done BF I want to try again as it took us YEARS to conceive her. And with two MC during those years it was such a journey. I'm ready for my family to grow!

My daughter was 7 months old when I got pregnant with my son and my son was 7 months when I got pregnant this time. It can be exhausting but I love it. My son tries to do everything my daughter does its so cute lol whenever you are ready.
