I find myself simultaneously obsessed with my baby's innocence and littleness , and eager to meet the free-thinking, walking, talking boy he will become . I can't wait to see his imagination working and experience his humor, watching the ideas light up in his eyes and hearing the questions that display his interests and curiosity. Part of me, though, sort of wishes I could suspend time and keep him from growing too big to lay in my arms anymore . I love this boy so much it hurts. Can a heart break from adorableness? .... Maybe it's just exploding.

Thank you. He's so special at every phase. A lady sitting next to me on the plane last night said ... "you know, when my girls were little I didn't realize how fast it would all go. You only have 18 summers with them . I wish I would have looked at it that way so I would have paid attention to how much time I had left with them "
it really put things into perspective . We basically only have 17 summers left now in a few short weeks . It's nuts how life is beginning to fly by already.

I'm feeling the exact same way and this is my fourth! If only we could suspend time at certain points and keep them little then let them grow up.??
