I can tell you I loved both my c sections! I am 6 days out and have been to the mall twice, walked Costco and Sam's, etc- no problems. Never had infections, my scar is so tiny you can't see it. I'm already down weight- only 10 lbs to get to pre pregnancy weight.

Plus my son came out looking gorgeous. He's healthy and happy.

I really hope yours goes great like mine. Please don't worry.

If you have specific questions let me know. I can tell you once you're in surgery it's like 15 min and over. They do a spinal and it doesn't hurt at all- at least mine didn't.

Im going to agree with pp. I have had 4 c/s and im currently waiting in L&D to see if im in active labor so #5 today or coming back on Monday. But honestly I cant imagine having my kids any other way everything has gone so smooth and recovery was great. You will do just fine. All you need to focus on is having a happy healthy baby. Prayers to you and baby.

Thank you ladies so much. I'm so scared, nervous, excited, etc. Judge hatchet's daughter in law just died after a c section, so it has me all paranoid. Reading the stories makes me feel a lot better

I am 44 I just had my c section on June 2. I felt good after 4 days going out shopping cleaning and walking. One advice I give you is buy gas pills and ask dr to give u a tummy binder it helps a lot. Don't worry you got this .

I have had one c-section and it also went great. Recovery was good and speedy. I'm currently scheduled to have my second on Tuesday and hoping it goes as smooth as my first. Good luck and you got this.
