Sounds a lot like my 15 month old, but I now have him trained! Like you, I was allowing his Dad to make him laugh (tickles and dunny faces) after cuddles and books. Of course he didn't want to go to bed after that! So now, Daddy leaves the room after books are read and we rock. If he's not into rocking and asks to get down I simply put him in his crib. He usually goes right to sleep, but sometimes he babbles or plays with the book I place in his crib, but eventually he sleeps. Good luck!

Unfortunately he doesn't watch tv or stop moving really ever which makes these things difficult. The only thing he's into cuddling is the dog, and that doesn't go over well. His molars and canines are coming in which I know are making things worse.
