Did you start on the cetrotide? How are your follicles?

Started cetritide today. They measure between 9 mm to 13mm. He said number makes me more robust. And I'm like what do you mean robust. He's like more to play around with. In my head "I'm not a toy doc!!" ?

Anywho he's happy with it. I got 11 follicles

lol I find my RE to be a little socially awkward as well.. the time after my HSG test when he hugged me and said we're going to have a baby!!!! (Oh, also I was bottomless) ?

11 follicles is really good!! Crossing fingers you get lots of healthy eggs! I start cetrotide on Friday morning.

Did you get an US yet? How does it look?

I had my ultrasound this morning. I think there were 5-6 follicles on either side but they were measuring around 6mm so I'm not starting cetrotide until Friday morning. Does this move up your egg Retrieval? I think mine is scheduled for 8/29.

Possibly? Not too sure yet. Im originally retrieving between aug 29 to 31st. I'm having another US on Thursday? Have a feeling I'm gonna trigger earlier. During my natural cycle I ovulate on day 12. Not sure if my follicles just like to grow fast. I got 7 right and 4 left.

How did your us go?

Looking good. Lab results haven't come back yet but when he was measuring there was one 19 mm.

He said I will be triggering Saturday and ER Monday!

He totally re assured me that Sunday's escapade of leakage clearly didn't mess things up. Lol.

They counted 21 follicles. 9 mm to 15 mm

Just had my us and labs done this morning. My follicles are measuring around 11-12mm. I think there are around 11 good sized follicles. Uterine lining was 9.5. I started cetrotide this morning. (Didn't hurt during the shot but kind of itches afterwards. Did you have that?) in going back in Monday for another us/labs check and triggering on Tuesday for egg Retrieval Thursday 8/31! I'm doing Lupron and HSG. Exciting!!! ???

That looks great!!!! Right on schedule. Yes common side effect of cetrotide. I didn't get it but I was told to not worry!

Goodness...three of us here with extremely similar dates!!! ? I just had US Day 6 and had a few follicles on each side measuring 10+, a few still very small. Started Ganirelix/cetritide same day. Sunday for another US. Trigger possibly Mon or Tues dependent upon that.

Menopur also doubled...just wondering if others have/had experienced more stinging/itchiness after using this? Thanks! ???

GHV- our cycles are very close!! I do have some burning during/after Menopur shots for sure. Not too badly though, I apply pressure for about 30 seconds to a minute and then it's fine. The cetrotide will leave a little bump like a mosquito bite almost. Good luck with your us tomorrow! Keep us updated!

Yes menapur does burn or feel like a charlie horse as I'm injecting

I'm done stimming. Triggering tonight at 9:30!!!! Apparently the hCG will burn. I had such a cheerful nurse today. So lovely!

@keebs. I'm feeling good. Just minor bloating. No pain. It really depends on food that I bloat. Not a big fan of carbs right now. Lol

So after tonight's trigger no more needles. I will be starting antibiotics and this med for decreasing OHSS. And then progesterone suppository day 1 post retrieval.

Yes. Feeling gassy!! Lol. It went really well. We met our babysitters today and they seem amazing.

We got 22 eggs. They will let us know results daily. Taking another day off tomorrow.

Currently risk of OHSS. On my third bottle of Gatorade and eating meat!!!

Efong, did your RE suggest you eat hot dogs?? I remember mine telling me to drink Gatorade and eat hot dogs lol. Sending you positive energy for lots of fertilized eggs!!

So update 22 follicles 18 mature. 15 fertilized!!! So base on statistics. I think we should have 7 by day 5. Keep you guys posted!
