I just want to sleep.
It's 5am. I've been awake since 3am with my oldest son after he had a nightmare. My baby woke up to nurse around 330. I was hopeful they would both fall back asleep. They finally started to settle when my daughter woke up. Now they are all awake. The oldest two are just FULL of energy, running around and playing. My baby is not fussing, but is very much awake as well. I worked until 11pm. By the time I got my work keys turned in (it always takes forever) and drove home it was nearly midnight. By the time I got ready for bed it was between 1230 and 1am. I've been running on 2-3 hours of sleep a night for weeks now. I can't do it much longer.

I'm sorry hun that's got to be really rough on your body, physically and mentally. Is there anyway you could get someone to watch them for like a day so you can get some rest?

Put your foot down with the older ones, I have to with my toddler. She wakes up and doesn't want to sleep, I tell her it isn't time to wake up, and the most I will do is potty time, and a little warm milk. Lay them back down and be firm, if they get back up there will be consequences in the morning. They will get bored and eventually fall back asleep.

I thought your SO stays home with the kids? Why isn't he getting up some mornings?

Aw I'm so sorry.
Go to sleep kiddies, go to sleep!

He actually tried when our oldest woke up. He's going through what I hope is a phase, though, and screams bloody murder for me when he knows I'm home. I can't sleep through one of my babies asking for me and wanting my comfort.
Now that it's morning and the kids have had breakfast and are watching Super Why, my SO is up and I'm going to sneak off and take a nap. I have to. I work another 2-11 today and desperately need some rest first. Thank goodness I'm off tomorrow!

You should absolutely get a nap, that sounds exhausting!

I napped for 2.5 hours. It definitely helped, but I'm just over all worn out. I'm sleeping in tomorrow. My SO already knows so he's just going to have to figure out how to distract our oldest from freaking out.
