Painful dry skin ? help!
Painful dry skin ? help!
I'm suffering from some of the driest skin to ever exist this pregnancy. I have patches on my stomach, which aren't too bad, and then there are my thighs. My legs look like something out of a horror movie.

I use coconut oil most of the time. I also love noodles and boo products (it's a baby/kids line). Their ultimate healing cream and lotions are amazing. I usually use the healing cream when my skin is super bad and use coconut oil as preventive (trader joes brand is my favorite)

I would try coconut oil as well or aquafor. That's what I had to use with my daughter

I use/sell a product called L'BRI. It has pure and natural, ingredients with aloe as its first ingredient. Aloe is a very powerful healing agent. When water is applied on very top, it allows all 3 layers of your skin to be penetrated, while most products with water and mineral oil only penetrate the first layer. For what you are describing, I would recommend our pure aloe jelly with our body butter over top. I promise it will help. (It may sting a little though, if you really are that dry. ) My website is jbever.lbri.com if you would like to check it out. It also has my contact information if you have any additional questions.

If it's red, scaly and itchy, may be you should see a doctor. It could be a skin infection or eczema.

Try coconut oil, argan oil, and African shea butter. The only three things that can actually moisturizes my body. Regular moisturizers stores don't work on my skin.

If you use coconut oil, make sure your skin is still a little damp from your warm bath and do it within the first 3 minutes of getting out of the shower/ tub of optimal effect.

Shea butter (but the real, pure stuff) or tallow. They are more moisturizing than coconut oil. I've been super dry this pregnancy too. Like someone else said it may be something more depending on what the patches are like.

Aks, is correct. Coconut oil. It's self.will not moisturize ypur skin but traps moisture to your skin.

I bought soft soap body wash with oil in it and even mix lotion into it when showering just be careful not to slip in the tub....also use eucerine lotion
