Preterm labor risk rising..

Wow! I feel for you! This is my first pregnancy & I don't know how some mommy's do it, chasing after other children while being pregnant! Being pregnant is tough enough in itself! Hopefully this baby stays in and cooks til your due date ? I'm considered high risk since I am "advanced maternal age" and first time pregnant. I went to a neonatologist a few times for ultrasounds, passed my glucola, so far so good! ?

I feel ya girl! I have an irritable uterus and both my kids were born at 35 weeks. I'm 31 now, and pretty much on bed rest as much as possible. I literally cannot keep up with my kids without starting to contract, so we've had to get help from family, and in the works to hire someone for the days my husband works. Hoping to keep this gal in until at least 37 weeks.

I also been having complications with my 2 went into pre term labour at 23 weeka then got diagnosed with irritable uterus and now I have to much fluid wont know more till I speak to my midwife about the fluid.

I was diagnosed with an irritable uterus with my first pregnancy and I had him at 30 weeks. This pregnancy I have been taking progesterone and so far so good. I started having preterm contractions at 26 weeks with my first son and was in and out of the hospital the entire time and I have made it to 29 weeks now with no issues as of yet so I am at least hopeful to make it to 36 weeks at least with this one. Here is to baking these bubs to full term good luck!!!!

You definitely ain't alone! I have a 4.5 year old, 2 year old, and 10 month old! I've already been hospitalized once for preterm labor I'm suppose to be on bedrest but my doctor says she finds it pointless to say it cause she knows I can't do it but that I need to greatly limit myself. My last 2 pregnancy were both filled with complications including preterm labor. I was lucky to make it as far I did with my eldest son who just turned 2 at the end of December. He was a preemie who spent 3 weeks in the hospital and is now special needs. My youngest son i made it to term at least but barely he's actually really healthy thankfully! I'm praying I make it to term with this little girl but between moving, selling my old house, buying a new house, taking care of my kids, taking my eldest to and from school daily, taking my brother in law to and from work, keeping up with all my eldest son's medical appts, and taking care of my disabled hubby I don't know how long I will be able to keep her in for. Praying we both make it at least to term and we have happy healthy babies!

Wow thank you ladies so much for your support and sharing your stories with me! I'm definitely keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping that we all have full term healthy babies! I haven't been put on bed rest yet and hopefully that remains the case. Good luck ladies!!!

I know how you feel. Even tho I've now been cleared from high risk,

I have an 11,9,3 1/2 & 2 yr old to run around after all day.

And I'm nesting now too which means no rest at all for me atm.

I'm still a bit concerned about going into pre term labour again, I was flown out at 25wks because of it. Thankfully they stopped it.

I hope ur lil baby stays put for a little while longer to bake ?.
