I'm off on Fridays and Saturdays so I'm lucky there. My sister had to work 10am-10pm yesterday and since we live in an at will employment state my sister had to go in or lose her job. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that people have to risk their lives for no good reason. She works at Aldi and they closed at 6pm last night due to the weather but by then she was stuck. She lives 25 minutes away. The company paid for a hotel room across the street under the condition she would be on call today. Now they've decided to not open the store and she has check out at 11. She doesn't have enough money to pay for a room herself and absolutely no way to get home. Needless to say I'm freaking out ?
