That's another reason I love this name. We can go untraditional with his nickname and shorten Frederick to Ricky instead of Freddy. My dad's name is Rickie (has gone by Rick his whole life) and has always been disappointed he didn't have a boy to be named after him. I would love to surprise him by calling this little boy Ricky after his grandfather ?
