High risk again?

He ladies. I figured you guys would be able to answer my question. I'm 7 weeks with my third baby. I was high risk last pregnancy due to a placental abruption in my first. Everything went well until I was told at my 38wk appointment that baby had IUGR. I haven't been to my doctor yet (go the 30) but I was wondering if I'll be considered high risk again? I'm not sure if IUGR is something I need to worry about more since it happened last time or not.

I think every pregnancy is unique and each doctor does things a bit differently. My OB told me I would be considered high risk with any other pregnancies due to my IUGR. However, that probably won't come into play until later in the pregnancy (past 20 weeks).

Most likely yes. I had two ectopics previously and had a LEEP like a hundred years ago and even though the baby is in my uterus and I'm now 17 weeks I am still high risk bc I've had loss and may end up with an incompetent cervix. I also just found out I have cancer so that high risk label won't be leaving for me. At any rate at least when you're deemed high risk you get to have more ultrasounds and get closer monitoring so if by off chance anything did go wrong you'd know right away. And who doesn't like seeing their baby all the time. I always try to find the bright side of things when something bad or kind of crapy is happening.
