New Year's Eve alone?
Anyone else spending the evening alone? It's just about 9:30 and I'm alone. My son is sleeping soundly in his crib. My SO unfortunately had to work. I feel so terrible for him. He's been at work since 8 this morning, and new he was going to have to work night shift as well. He manages a 24 hour convenience store and of course, his night shift suddenly got sick and can't work and no one will cover it. He was supposed to come home to nap this afternoon, but his afternoon shift no called no showed and no one would help out then either. He also has to work tomorrow, so that's a 24+ hour shift he's looking at. On top of that, he's sick and doesn't even get paid by the hour. Pretty much the worst job ever. Anyway, so I'm home alone at 31 weeks, feeling pretty miserable, and worried sick about my SO and totally bummed this is the way we're ringing in the new year. :(

So am I : my 3 year old is still up though . But hubby has work . He's been at since 5pm and won't be off until 8am .

My hubby is working too. I'm home with his mom & her husband but no plans lol I didn't even realize tonight was New Year's Eve that's how cool I am haha :)

I'd much rather be home than anywhere else tonight. My sister invited me to her place, but I really don't want to be the only sober person lol, and I don't want my son around that either. Just wish my SO and I could bring in the new year together, even if we are sleeping at the time!

I agree! Haha I don't know if I'd have the patience to be the only sober one ? and I understand that. The father of my baby and I aren't together so he's out doing his own thing.

Not completely alone me and my daughter husband goes in for graveyard tonight I thought we could do something early but no so we're going to eat pizza and drink cider
