Finally!

Well ladies, I'm officially 30 weeks today! As the days pass I get more and more excited and more and more nervous. On this day last year, I was preparing to take my son home from the hospital after an almost 2 week stay for me. I experienced a placental abruption at 34 weeks and delivered my son at 35 weeks. I'm high risk this time since my doctors have no way to explain what happened to me. Everything was fine in my previous pregnancy until the abruption, and I've been warned that it could possibly happen again this time. If not that, the odds of delivering early again are pretty high. I have my next appointment and ultrasound on Jan 5, then I start weekly appointments. I hope more than anything that I carry to term this time. I got extremely lucky with my son, minimal problems (jaundice, weight gain issues) and he's blossomed into a terrorizing little toddler, but I definitely don't want to tempt fate again.
