Advice ladies! Hospital time?
Hi ladies! Boy oh boy I feel pretty silly. This is my second pregnancy so I thought I would at least have a pretty good idea of what to expect. This pregnancy has been completely different than my first and I don't know what to think right now. I woke up about an hour ago with cramping, quite low. The pain is pretty severe, enough that it's got me squirming and I'm having a hard time concentrating. I don't have any experience with braxton hicks and my first thought was that this pain I'm in is simply that. However, changing position, walking, relaxing, drinking water, nothing has changed the pain. On the other hand, I can still feel my daughter moving around every 10 to 20 minutes and it doesn't feel as if my uterus is getting tight, at least not to the touch like it did when I was in labor with my son.

It never hurts to go get checked. Best to be safe!

I would call doctor and see if they want you to come in and he checked and make sure you're not having real contractions or something else going on. It's good baby is moving tho!☺️

How far are u? This same thing happened with my second pregnancy, I finally went to hospital and I was 8cm in active labor!!! (Ended in an emergency c section half hour later)

I'm 27 weeks right now. I called to L&D and they want me to come in. I'm going as soon as I can but it's going to be just a little while longer unfortunately. I have to get my son ready and my SO is scrambling to leave work (he works 30 mins away) and the hospital is another 20 mins away. The only family I have in the area is my sister and I can't get ahold of her to help out, but she lives 40 mins away anyway, and all my friends are at work. My little girl is still moving around and I haven't leaked anything noticeable. In fact everything has been completely normal until I woke up this morning. I certainly hope my baby girl is okay :(

I'm glad you're going to go get checked. It's the only for sure way to know what's going on in there. It's always better to be cautious in these situations. Keep us up updated please :)

It's been a long stressful wait but finally on my way to the hospital...my doctor is going to yell at me for the delay for sure...but unfortunately it couldn't be helped. Thanks for the support ladies!!

Still being monitored :/ no contractions are registering but they didn't register with my son either. They are concerned about the bleeding and the pain since there seems to be no cause for it. Hopefully I'll have some answers soon!

Well I get to go home! Everything is good with baby girl. My cervix is closed and no registering contractions. They still aren't sure what's causing the bleeding since there doesn't seem to be any issues there. I have blood in my urine too which is most likely a bladder/kidney infection but they have to wait for the results before they know for sure. Hopefully the pain and bleeding will subside soon!
