Concerned but staying positive!
Concerned but staying positive!
Hi ladies! I finally had my first appointment today at 13 weeks 2 days. I didn't get an ultrasound but I have one scheduled for September 12. Unfortunately, due to complications at the end of my first pregnancy, my doctor has decided that I'll be high risk this time around. So I'll be seeing a high risk OB every 2 weeks for blood pressure and cervix checks. I'll have to start on nightly progesterone suppositories as well. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bummed out by this, but I want my baby to be healthy. Any of you March mommies high risk as well?

I'm high risk. Had a placental abruption at 32 wks last time & delivered at 34 wks. I had absolutely no ill symptoms or warning. Just sudden bleeding. I've been very depressed on & off during this pregnancy. Drs have no answers or preventions. I just have to hope it doesn't happen again. Take comfort that there are some steps you can take to help increase your chances of a healthy pregnancy. I've heard great things about progesterone! I understand how you are feeling, just try to focus on the positive. Wishing you h & h nine months!

I haven't been labeled such but I'm seeing my Dr every 2 weeks due to previous mcs Feb and April this year. And he's been doing ultrasound each time.

I have HBP. They are labelling me as high risk. On Sept. 19 I go to the Dr. because I have been seeing a midwife. My BP was high before pregnancy and went down a lot. But no where near what it should be. So...there is a possibility that they may have to deliver my baby between 29-35 weeks. I'm praying for 35 weeks at least. But they do not see me going full term. Keeping all of you in my prayers. Please keep us in yours.

I hate to hear your ladies' problems but it is nice to know I'm not the only one. I hope all goes well for all of us and that we have healthy pregnancies and healthy full term babies! :)
