6 month old sleep help

My 6 month old is suddenly fighting sleep. He's skipping his naps and takes forever to get to sleep at night. He's never slept through the night but has always gone right to sleep for me. I've tried everything. I've rocked him, tried white noise, a warm bath, reading, and finally tried letting him cry it out. Nothing has worked! He's super fussy but just won't give in. Any advice on what to do?
