Spotting blood
Any of you ladies experiencing spotting? I went to the bathroom and noticed a bit of blood on my underwear and when I wiped. My doctor doesn't have an on call number. Just wondering if I should go to l&d or not?

Kinda feels like period cramps but not coming and going just constant. I didn't even really notice till I went to the bathroom

Go to ER bleeding and cramping are signs of labour.

Up at l&d now they wanted me to come get monitored. They did the swab to check if I'll give birth within the next 2 weeks and a urine sample. Waiting on the results now. Baby's heart rate is good and she's moving lots so hopefully nothing is wrong!

They sent me home. Everything came back normal. Didn't really explain to me why the bleeding was happening. Just told me to come back if the cramps become regular and more frequent or if the bleeding continues. And to check in with my doctor on Tuesday otherwise.

TMI but did you have sex recently? The cervix can be super sensitive during pregnancy, so that would be one possibility.

They didn't say anything about previa. Didn't really get much of an answer period about what was going on. Just said if it continued to come back. I feel fine today so hopefully everything is good.

I spotted a few times in my 2nd trimester (first time ever in 3 pregnancies). My midwives couldn't really explain it other than a tiny flap of skin that was irritating my cervix. Glad you got it checked out and everything is ok!
