What are some early labour signs?
Im currently 36 weeks + 2 days. This is my first pregnancy ( its not entirely but thats something i dont discuss) and i have no clue what to be expecting. Ive experienced BH contractions for the past two weeks that only last for 10 minutes and are irregular so thats how i figured BH and ive guessed that the real deal contractions will feel like the BH but with more pain and will become regular the more i progress. I also know excess discharge is an early sign and sometimes your mucus plug or water breaks but i have a high pain tolerances and can deal with a lot of pain for x amount of time. So I guess what I really wanna know is if im missing any knowledge on labour signs and what i can do to help myself through the contractions besides breathing techniques and finding a somewhat comfortable position to get in during the first stage?

Seems you have the right idea.
I didn't have any early labor symptoms with my son. I literally got a contraction (felt like cramps in my back and gradually got worse. I went to the bathroom a hour after they started and heard a plop (mucus plug fell out) and when I wiped I was bleeding.
With my daughter I swore I was in pre labor for like 9 days. I had random contractions, lost parts of my mucus plug (it regenerates).
I knew when I was in active labor though, I got a contraction that took me to my knees.
Went to pee and when I wiped mucus just kept coming and then it turned to blood.

Wow... my baby has been heads down for the past 6 weeks and cause i had my midwife today she was feeling for his position and she told me he is right near my cervix opening and she couldnt move his head. I havent dropped (only the slightest bit) i feel most of his movement in my pelvis and i also feel his hiccups down there too. I have noticed an increase in my discharge but no mucus plug which im guessing is good cause i dont want him to come till after next week.
I always have back pain as i have scoliosis in my lower spin and my baby is pressing against it most of the time.

I also have an extremely high pain tolerance. My BH contractions were never painful. Just felt like pressure and my stomach would tighten, then relax. When my water broke, it did come out a lot but when I stood up, baby's head blocked it off. When I laid back down again, it came gushing out. At first, my contractions felt like period cramps. I took a shower, dried my hair, and ate something. Then they got super intense, like nothing I had ever felt before. They were so close together. I did try to breathe and stay calm. The breathing techniques I learned in my class really didn't help me so I kinda figured out my own ways to breathe and calm myself in the moment. People kept thinking I had fallen asleep at the hospital because I would just close my eyes and try to zone out. Have you made a birth plan yet? I went over mine with my OB beforehand and then I went over it again with the nurse in the hospital. It made me feel a lot better to have everyone on the same page.

I have a birth plan in place just got two things to add. My ob wont be helping me give birth as he isnt allowed at my towns hospital because his ex-wife has an avo out on him after he confornted her about her cheating on him. She works up there once a fortnight! Im going to the hospital in a town thats 45 minute drive to get to as my hospital also havent got there maternity ward open as they have no doctors to help pregnant women give birth and be there if conplications arise. My aboriginal midwife knows my birrh plan but wont be able to help me through the labour and birthing stage so am going to see a midwife where ill be giving birth at so i have a familiar face in the room besides my SO.
Sorry if thats completely all over the place.
