We usually don't start solids until 6 months. Glad he is doing well with them

So cute. I usually start rice cereal at 4 months and baby food at 6 months. I can't wait. Hopefully I'll get some sleep then. Little man is still getting up every 3-4 hours at night to eat.

Doc said 4-6 months and since he's still so small I went for it.

Thanks Shari, Amanda, and Luna!
Sure Shari! I ground up brown rice in my food processor. Then I boiled one cup of water and added a quarter cup of the brown rice powder to it. Whisk it continuously until thickened. Then I set it aside, when you are ready to feed baby take one to 3 tablespoons of thickened mixture and add it back to a small saucepan add expressed breastmilk or formula and whisk again to a pourable consistency. That's it!
