So my husband and I have been living seperate for a little bit. We've been working on things together well. He's coming over tomorrow and I get to cook for him. He loves alfredo so I am making him Homemade fettuccine alfredo with mushrooms in the sauce and I am making grilled asparagus and croissants to go with it. I'm so excited he loves my cooking and I love cooking for him and I haven't been able to in forever. It just makes me happy to cook for him. I love cooking in general but I love that my husband appreciates my food so much and that he has no problem eating what I cook. Btw my husband hates mushrooms and he will eat them in whatever I'm cooking because he says I'm the only one who knowsteals how to cook them. He even eats my stuffed portobello mushroom caps. In my cooking I actually feel appreciated. Plus I love my husband I'm just happy he will be here.

Right there have been so many sad posts lately. I'm just so happy lately. We've been doing so much better. I love my husband and wanted things to work so badly. And we'll I love to cook for him. I can post pics later if you guys want. It's gonna be yummy :)

I still haven't heard from him. I jusy want to cry and go to bed. I spent $60 to make that dinner for him and that was the last of my money that I could've spent on myself. And he didn't even show up. I am honestly really hurt right now. I thought things were going great and now I realize that my son and I are not a priority to him. His friends are the priority. I'm tired of dealing with a grown man acting like a child. I wish I was his priority for once. That I was important enough that he could say no to his friends just one time. And our son has been saying dada and daddy for the past 2 days. I actually made my husband send a video of him talking to him and I played it for him he started crying when I took the video away and so I played it a few more times and he giggled and squealed. He misses his daddy. And my husband knows this and obviously doesn't care enough. Ugh I'm so hurt and frustrated.

I'm so sorry you're going through this. I hope you're able to come to a resolution soon, whether it be to stay together or let it go, you deserve peace in your life.

Thanks. I left him a month ago because he didn't want to work on the relationship and I wasn't going to stay with someone who didn't want me and be miserable but then right after I left he messaged saying he wanted marriage counseling and to work on things. He said it didn't hit him till I drove away. Well we've been great the past few weeks and all the sudden he blows me off and no word from him. Nothing. He's going to hear a few choice words when he decides to finally answer his phone.

Maybe he completely forgot... Send him a message or a call and tell him you are hurt and he missed out on a bomb meal... Communication is key

I messaged and called twice. He didn't respond till 1:30am this morning. Just saying sorry I fell asleep early. That's it. He didn't even really sound sorry. And tbh. I don't know that I believe him. But I guess I'll see what he does. He has some serious sucking up to do.
