I think I felt 3 hard kicks.
Is this possible I'm only just over 3 months and they say that too early but I've never felt these before and I was laying down on my back and felt a kick or what felt like I'd imagine one. So I put my hand on my belly and felt two more. I haven't felt any since but I don't know any advice. I am a ftm also

My son is 18 wks now. I'm a ftm as well and I felt what I'd discerned as movement "too early" as well. I don't recal EXACTLY when, but it was around the same time as you. I was told it was too early and that wasn't what I felt.
Here's the thing...I know what I felt and it was confirmed later when I felt it again stronger only this time it was the right time...when I was "supposed to" feel it. So they're full of crap in my opinion lol...medical people, that is. I think it varies and it IS possible for you to feel him/her.
I didnt feel a "kick" through my stomach, meaning feeling with my hand placed on my stomach. It was deep in my stomach and it was like a flippy feeling...like when ur on a roller coaster and ur stomach drops...best way to explain what I felt and that's what got stronger weeks later when THEN it was time for me to feel it...according to nurse/doctor.
So I say...you may be a ftm, but u know ur body...you know what you feel and I wouldn't let anyone tell u different ;-)

Every bodies different. Doctors/nurses go on what the average is. But it's not definite to apply to you. If you felt the kick with your hand then it probably was. Baby might have been sitting more in the front and that's why you have felt it. Babies movement also feel like fluttering in your tummy. I refer it to bubbles popping in my tummy. Some people feel it earlier but don't even realise that's what it is. My first pregnancy was twins and I started feel the bubbles around the same time as you, I thought it was gas, then a girlfriend of mine told me that's the babies ??
