Starting next week I'll be 35 weeks prego :) I will be preparing my body for labor. This is not supposed to induce labor but strengthen your uterus and soften your cervix. I got the primrose oil from Wal-Mart. I will be taking one orally in morning and inserting one prior to bed daily. The Red Raspberry capsules and Labor prep capsules and tea i got from Amazon. I will be taking RR 2x a day in combination with the tea 2x. I used RR and primrose with my last pregnancy. I was dilated 4cm and 80% effaced at 38 weeks, before I went to labor. I believe it really prepared me, I had a elective induction at 39 weeks it lasted 5 hours and only 1 push!!! Just thought to let you ladies know about it in case anyone is interested in trying it :)

I'm going to see if I can have an elective induction on April 16. That's the day before my due date, and my Dad's birthday.

@Springforward I hope your doctor is more nicer then mine. I got transferred to a new doctor at 28 weeks and I found out today that they don't allow elective inductions :( so I'm pretty bummed about it. I really liked having to know when I'll have the baby, arrange babysitting and have hubby take time off work. I guess this time it will just be a surprise hehe

The entire EPO pill should be inserted. The pill will dissolve throughout the night so make sure to wear a liner as it will leak out a bit :)
