More detailed ultrasound?

Is this your first pregnancy? Are you high risk? If you've had an appointment with your midwife and they've identified that you're high risk then that'll be why, either way a more detailed ultrasound is better than a normal one- you'll find out lots more info and more time will be spent on the ultrasound ☺️

They probably want to do a more detailed ultrasound because of your hematoma. I have the same thing. Actually, they should have done that ultrasound at your last appointment, because they have to measure the hematoma. I'm surprised they let you go. I would've been super mad lol

Sometimes you have to remind your doc of certain things. Don't assume they know your case 100% just because they have a bunch of papers in front of them.

Either way, it's good your getting another ultrasound ?

Yeah I'm sure this is due to the hematoma. I have one as well and my RE did another US two days after it was diagnosed in ER and will do another US to in a little over a week.

They need to get measurements on it and monitor it.

I wouldn't worry.

same thing happened to me! ER said i had a sub. hematoma and when I went for my first visit to Dr last Tuesday they did an ultrasound and everything was gone. Don't worry about it? my doctor said its normal, he sees it a lot and its probably blood from when we were supposed to have our period/or implantation bleeding. they said i must have ovulated later then usual. and they found a good steady heartbeat

@cmarie oh good! I'm so happy everything cleared up for you! I feel perfectly fine no cramping or bleeding so I'm hoping everything cleared up for me too. It's just nerve wrecking not knowing and going over a month without an ultrasound ☹️
