Breast feeding is like a natural birth control, when you breast feed your uterus contracts not allowing a egg to stick.

Actually that's not true. I know so many women who've conceived while ebf. It's actually a myth.

I'm 8 weeks pregnant and breastfeeding, my neighbor is due any day and breastfeeding and there are lots of pregnant ladies in the group doing just fine. It can be a challenge but it's definitely not impossible.

LOL at previous comment. Soooo not true. I breastfeed and am pregnant right now. Might wanna use condoms if you breastfeed sweetie w that logic you'll have lots of kids very close together ;)

I'm breast feeding my 15 month old & we are trying for #2! This is our 4th month of trying again! It took us 3 years & I mc to get our baby girl. I started getting my periods when my daughter was 6 months old. Good luck ladies!

I've just stopped feeding my little girl at 9 months as TTC and would really like to be pregnant again soon due to work commitments. Still awaiting AF (last feed was 3 weeks ago). Any advice regarding TTC having just stopped BF would be welcome!

are you giving formula now? They need either bm or formula until a year.

Thanks for adding! Just to reassure you, when I said I've stopped feeding her, I meant stopped feeding her breast milk! She's on expressed milk (I'd created a store in my freezer), formula and solids so certainly isn't starving!

Nursenab ur story is exactly mine too! Took 3 yrs n 1 mc for us to get our son. He's almost 11 months now and I got my af back at 6 months. We've been trying for about 3-4 months now :) my af is due today, I've had bfns but in trying to still be hopeful
