Freaking out!
I'm 17 weeks and went to the bathroom and when I wiped there was bright red blood. Called the dr and she said to just rest and if I'm still bleeding tomorrow then I should be seen. I haven't had intercourse in over a week so its not from that. I wasn't cramping at the time, but now I am. I'm still thinking about going to the emergency room though. Thoughts and advice?

Thank you everyone! Baby is fine, we got a very strong heartbeat! I have a bladder infection. So taking it easy and starting meds for the infection.

Rested last night waiting to hear from the dr again. Spotting stopped last night just have a lot of pressure and cramping now. Will update later again. Thank you ladies your all so supportive and nice!
i would def go I've bleed 3 times wit preg starting as early as 7weeks and latest at 21wks. I've went hospital everytime as im rhesus negative so i have to have injection if i bleeding from baby. go u won't b able to rest u will just stress which makes things worse. it could just b infection which was wat was up wit me everytime
I was bleeding at around 11 weeks.
It was bright red and pretty heavy too. I called a nurse and my doctor, they wanted me to wait it out. I did, but all I did was stress out. I started bleeding the night of 12-25 and didn't go to the doctor until the morning of 12-27.
They don't know why I was bleeding but my cervix was closed and my LO was fine and she still is.
I was put on bed rest for 3 weeks. I had to keep my legs elevated and stay well hydrated. After the 3 weeks, I had to take it easy, just as a precaution.
Go to the ER for peace of mind and to avoid the stress that may be unnecessary.
Same situation ! Bleeding is not always the bad sign !
