I had mine last week. It is just like any reg ultrasound but little longer bc tech looks at back of baby's neck to measure thickness to determine risks for down syndrome. Mine was done abdominally.

I didn't know it was a transvaginal. They did say I didn't need a full bladder, that must be why....

It is a level 3 transvaginal ultrasound. I have mine scheduled for the 27th, and I also had to go to a special location.
