My baby is tongue tied and he has an appointment to have it snipped on Thursday and I'm really scared that it's going to hurt him has anyone gone through this can you explain the process and is there any blood also is there healing time or is it just a snip and it's done and over with?

My brother had that done at the dentist when he was like 10. The dentist was shocked no one had noticed earlier. It was quick, my brother said it didn't really hurt, and no healing time afterwards.

My daughter just had hers done a few weeks ago. It was so quick and they dont feel anything because they don't have any nerves over there. She also had a lip tie. My fiance held her on his lap held her head still I held her arms the Dr snipped it and she literally started popping she didn't even cry. Took 2 sec it didn't really bleed either for only a sec and he cleaned it with gauze and that was it. It was an in and out thing baby should be perfectly fine. Good luck hun

I'm tongue tied as well but his was worse then mine he got it clipped yesterday and did amazing ❤️ his tongue is now exactly like mine so he's still a but tongue tied but he'll be able to enjoy ice cream and sticking his tongue out at me in the future ?
