I've heard your abdominal muscles are weaker and it can make you hunch over and not stand up as straight.

I did have a c-section... But I stood as tall as I could, and I was still looking up at him instead of straight at him!

Are you sure your not hunching over without realizing?

I have had 2 sections and never heard or had this happen to me... Hmm not sure what to tell you, if you find it why can you let us know.

My mom always swore (sworn?) She was taller before and that she lost a couple of cm with her pregnancies. I actually wasn't sure about it until this post ?

We were both barefoot in the kitchen! I instantly looked at his feet because it was so weird that his eyes were not level with mine. I can't find any obvious reason for this.

With all the relaxin that comes in during pregnancy, you can possible lose height. Some will regain it all, some will regain some of it, and some may not. Luck of the draw really.

The relaxin is "deactivated" after birth and your bones start to settle into whatever place they may. Your spine is probably compacted. I suggest going to visit a chiropractor and he will straighten you out. My chiropractor wants to see me within a week of giving birth for this reason.

Non pregnancy story. My dh and I were the same height when we were dating. I found out he had never been adjusted, so I took him to my chiropractor and he "grew" a couple inches.
