Yes! It might not be the same reason but when pregnant with my daughter I all of a sudden became very nervous before seeing the dr and my pulse would jump. I'm talking up to 130+. They sent me to a cardiologist and they put a monitor on me for 24hrs. Everything came back normal. Hopefully in your case it is also just some anxiety.

My blood pressure is always high during every appointment. They generally take it again and its within a reasonable #. Yours could be because of anxiety, I always get nervous before I see the doctor bc I never know what to expect. I typically do breathing exercises the second time they check and it definitely helps.

yup , same thing happens to me. my heart rate goes up sometimes when I go to the doctors too because I have a little anxiety and dnt know what to expect. hopefully that's your case too ?

Thanks, ladies. I just got my appointment set up with a cardiologist Nov. 12. I hope it's nothing. My prenatal doc said my heart sounded normal, just fast, so I'm hoping it's nothing big.

It might be from pregnancy. I will pray that's all it is for you momma... I have pac and pvc, heart murmur with tachycardia. Before pregnancy it just gotten worse with pregnancy. So if you need to talk message me.

Hope all is ok my heart rate is mainly always 100 it was 100+ the other night at doctors apparently im too anxious around them I had a ecg ect last year because my heart was 140 odd everything seemed ok hope all goes well for you x

Your heart race increases during pregnancy due to increased blood flow. I have SVT so I notice it big time. Just keep track of blood pressure :)

With every one of my pregnancies my heart rate stays around 115 to 125 once I deliver it goes back to normal. My husband and I joke that instead of taking pregnancy tests that all we need to do is check my pulse. This time I'm staying with just maternal fetal specialists but my ob nurse thinks they should send me to a cardiologist as well.

My heart rate while not pregnant was 105 and every pregnancy it's been 115ish. When I was sick it got to 125. But this pregnancy, so far, it's been in the 80s.

I am having the same problem. Not only when I go to the dr, my heart races all the time. I have a app with a cardiologist also. But my dr isn't very concerned because she said its common in pregnancy. But I am nervous!

I've been diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome. It's basically a heart condition where there's an extra pathway in the heart conducting electricity that's not supposed to be there. Fast heart rate & palpitations are some of the symptoms for it, though some people don't show symptoms.

It's really rare. The cardiologist prescribed a beta blocker and said I'd need a catheter ablation after pregnancy.

He prescribed a medication... I'm just so anxious about new meds in general, let alone while pregnant. I'm gonna clear it with my OB and do some research before I start taking it.

I've had a high heart rate forever mine never goes below 100 but my doctor had a name for it. I was taking medication before becoming pregnant to slow it down but it also slows your metabolism down so I started gaining weight like crazy

I have wolf Parkinson white it's something you are born with request they do an echo cardiogram to check and make sure it's not paired with anything. Mine is paired with ebsteins anomaly. The diagnosis sounds scary but many people with WPW have the ablation and never have problems again though it may make you a little more sensitive to fluctuations in your heart rhythm. I had my ablation 13 years ago and it still has not returned but it definitely made me more aware of my heart rhythm and amplified my sensitivity to rhythm changes. Also due to your diagnosis it's likely your doctor's will want to take a closer look at baby's heart don't let the is alarm or scare you it's just a precaution and does not mean baby will have anything wrong. So far my first 3 kids have not inherited any heart problems and this baby looked fine too but I get another ultrasound in December to take a closer look at her heart to make sure.
