PLEASE PRAY FOR ME ?
On February 7th I had my baby, 18 hours of labor 2 hours pushing, no tear. Exactly a week after I had her I came to the ER with a horrible allergic reaction to dermoplast that it burned my skin down there(2-14-18). Got treated and everything seemed fine . Saturday of that same week (2-17-18) I came back because I had a horrible back pain and when I came in they told me it was because of all the pushing I did while delivering . Sent me home with some ibuprofen because they said it will go away. Pain keep coming and coming so last Wednesday I came back to the ER again (2-21-18) and that’s when they discover that my bladder is retaining urine and I have a really bad UTI so they use a catheter to drain me out and they took out 1000 cc of urine and they sent me home with some antibiotics. Today I’m back at the hospital because the pain didn’t want to go away and all my medication that they gave me is done because they only gave me 5 pills for me to take 2 times a day also I can’t pee if I don’t push and I can’t poop if I don’t take a laxative. When I came in sure I was retaining pee once again put catheter in and drain it out . I’m admitted and I’m currently waiting for a doctor to come and tell me the plan so I can get better. I am broken I can’t believe that people can be so unprofessional . It took them 3 times coming in to figure out what I have . I am miserable all I want is to be with my 2 week baby girl at home cuddle up . Labor f*** ed me up and now I’m so afraid that I might end up with a surgery and I won’t be able to care for my baby like I’m suppose to due to the pain that imma be in . Please send positive prayers your way so I can get out of this safe and I can return to my baby ? I’m having a really hard time keeping it togheter ?

In a similar situation as you. Only I have a pelvic hematoma (blood clot) due to c-section complication. I feel.like a failure I miss my baby so much and I am.really upset at my OBGYN for ignoring my health concerns.

UPDATE: I’m been sent home tomorrow morning , urologist come and said that it’s common for this to happen after you deliver even tho it doesn’t happen that much . He said that while I was delivering my uterus impacted my bladder and it made my bladder lose sensation and also lost the feeling of sending a signal to my brain indicating that i have to pee . He said it’s gonna take at least 1 month to go back to normal but he wants to see me in his office on Thursday to see if it’s getting better and to do more test since he said I’m young he wants to make sure I have no other problem since my kidneys are fine !

So glad to hear you were finally diagnosed and are treating it. I was also sent home yesterday and currently on antibiotics and pain meds. Still in a lot of pain but at least I am home with my baby + family.
