So I had my baby on February 7th, is was a intense labor pushed for 2 hours and she was out any ways my point here is that my lady parts are ruined ( she didn't tear me ) they are so sour and also really swollen . My butt hurts if I sit for too much and I need help to get up . I know it has only been a couple of days and not a week or 2 but I need some advise on what can I use to lower the amount of pain that I'm in ! Also I want to pop so bad but I just can't because I'm scare to push . I feel like I'm in hell ??? help please

Ice packs specially for down there. It’s a life saver!

If your hospital didn't give you any. Go to a pharmacy and buy "dermablast" best thing ever after child birth! It completely numbs and takes the pain away!!

Take a stool softener

I was recommended to use a sitz bath, they sell it at almost any pharmacy. I was in your same boat and when I finally did go, surprisingly it wasn't as bad as I expected it. Also start trying to eat an activia yogurt once a day, this helped me

Try making padsicles (you can google/find on pinterest) and get a donut pillow (like the ones used for hemorroids)

Take Epson salt baths 2x a day. Apply Witch hazel pads on your butt and take a stool softener every night before bed . My favorite stool softner is Miralax.

I have a squatty potty and it helped. I had a 4th degree tear and things were definitely wrecked for a while, but everything healed fine. The bruised/swollen feeling is normal and lasts a few weeks but the pain should get better each day.

Colace for stool softener (it truly helps), and you. Will be sore for awhile... a huge baby came out of a relatively small space lol. But for me I used ice packs when I got home & walked or later down but elevated for awhile.

Try to put Aloe on your pads and put in the freezer so it's cool to the touch when you put them on.

I had my little man on the 8th. I was afraid to poop too since I had a 2nd three year with stitches. I took a stool softener and after sitting on the toilet for a while to work up the courage to push, it was surprisingly not near as bad as I was afraid it would be.
