Moms with diabetes or GD !
How was labor for you moms ? Did you guys deliver before the 39weeks mark or you guys had to be induce at 39weeks ? If you did how was the experience ? I'm a FTM with type 1 diabetes doctor told me I would be induce at 39weeks if she doesn't come early I'm currently 36 weeks and 6 days and I want to hear from other moms how was the experience of being induce or just the progress of labor .

This is my 2nd pregnancy with gd! My last one came too early at 34+5 only 3 hrs of labor and was diet controlled it went smooth. This time I'm getting induced at exactly 39 weeks bc of gd. I am on insulin and they will continue on during delivery giving that to me. She's not coming anytime soon lol so I'll be induced soon

@tryingfor3rd I am so nervous . I have my 37 week appointment this Wednesday and tbh I'm so scare because I have heard horribles stories about induction ?

I have had GD with all 3 pregnancies.
My 1st I was diet controlled and she was induced at 42 weeks weighing 8lbs even vaginal birth no complications.
My second I was on insulin and was induced at 38 weeks she weighed 9lbs 10oz vaginal birth no complications.
With this pregnancy also GD on insulin and the plan is to get me to 39 weeks. She is measuring large at 35 weeks she was estimated to be 7 1/2 lbs .

@amandavaldez so far my girl have measure on time which is actually a shook to me because when I first found out they told me babies can outgrown when they have a mother that it's diabetes . So I was wondering how's the progress because I'm terrified lol

I’m a ftm with gd . Due date is feb 12. If she’s not here by feb 10th I’m getting induced. So fair nothing has showed up to be concern on my ultrasound thank goodness . I’m getting a membrane sweep tomorrow and hoping she come natural before my inductions date

@alishp1212 I will turn 39 weeks on the 14 of February I will be meeting up with my doctor on Wednesday and I want to ask her how we gonna do this lol she is a doctor that doesn't speak much besides checking heartbeat and asking you if you ok so I guess Wednesday I'm gonna ask her to see what's gonna happen
