FTM scare of labor
I'm a FTM and as much as I will love to have my baby with me I am so scare to give birth or to get a c section. Idk what I will do and idk how I will get I been seen so many successful labors and I'm so scare to think that mine can be one of the unsuccessful ones. What did you moms do to get prepare ? I am terrified and it doesn't seem that my fear will go away ? I need advice as to how to prepare my self for her big entrance

With my first i was terrified of giving birth.. It didnt help i watched this show about horror birth stories. Anyways, theres no way to 100% prepare because theres no exact way it will go. I will say if you want the epidural, get it ASAP, cuz if you wait to long you cant get it, and theres only one anesthesiologist. If your religious, pray. And definitely staying calm through it all. Take a tour of l&d so you know exactly where to go. Honestly, this is my 2nd and it still gives me anxiety because you dont ever know exactly what will happen. Just dont let the fear consume you because once that babies here, it wont even matter❤ good luck xx

@kacijean1517 thank you so much ❤️ I am so terrified that I won't even watch any birth videos or anything related to giving birth lol the fear is big. My bf say that eveything will come out ok and that he will be there the whole step of the way but what if he faints and leave me alone lol I only have 4 weeks left and each week my anxiety gets worst and worst omg ?

When i delivered my first I never tought about it. Honestly once you get there you can never tell what will happen so just go with the flow of things. Nurses are very helpful and were there for me. I think your natural instincts will kick in and you will do great. Now that I'm getting ready to do it for the second time I'm having a little bit of anxiety but I stay positive if I did once I can do it again.

I had my first baby at 16 yrs old. I obviously did nothing to prepare lol I went into preterm labor at 33wks and it was over extremely fast. I didn't get the epidural because I didn't need it and there was no time.
With my second I was 21yrs old and went into labor at 36wks. When I arrived to the hospital I was 8-9cm and baby was out 20mins later. Again no time for epidural but didn't need it.
Third baby I did nothing to prepare as usual. Was 5cm at my 39wks appointment even though I was a day away from turning 39wks. Got sent to l&d because of how fast I've delivered. Was monitored for an hr or so before getting a room because turns out I was contracting just no feeling it. Walked for a bit and got checked about an hr after getting a room. I was at 6cm, water got broken, 1hr later baby was out.
So I guess what I'm saying is there's no point of worrying or stressing out because no one knows what will happen. I feel like the less stressed out you are about getting the baby out, the more you allow your body to do it's thing.
