I was told by the lactation consultant at my pediatrician that the latch it the most important. She gave me a few different positions to try. Is there a consultant at your pediatrician that can help?
Have you use a nursing pad to put inside your bra? That should help your nipple not to not rub against the bra. Also you can see if the hopital you deliver at have a lactation nurse you can talk to.
So I just stopped having nipple soreness and I am 4 weeks pp. my latch is good as I had a consultant come out to check and make sure we are on the right track. You could be sore just because you just started! It will get better although it just never feels like it, Since you are sore. I agree with all the previous ladies to check with Lactation to make sure your latch is correct and to give you pointers
You should also change the positions you latch baby as she will not irritate the areas that are already injured. That has been saving me! Also like previous posters said visit with la leche league as they can show you some techniques without the cost!
Honestly, my nipples stayed sore until about 6 weeks pp and that was after seeing 2 lactation consultants who said baby had a great latch. It does get better though, I promise! And get some lanolin to protect your nipples from the friction in you bra. Another good nipple cream is Motherlove Nipple Cream, I swear by it!
I second "motherlove" nipplecream!! 10 bucks in Amazon and comes in 2 days. Honestly, it's the only thing that's gotten me through breast feeding for the past 5 weeks

Most hospitals offer free lactation support. Call the hospital you delivered at. Or see if there is a le leche league leader in your area.
