It's always so hard in the beginning. Your body is trying to make up for the lack of hormones along with everything with baby-it's hard!
Don't be afraid to ask for help. Oh and if you ever feel like hurting yourself or feel sad most of the time or excessively talk to someone about it. Don't hold everything in, speak up for yourself. You'll be worrying about the baby but you'll need to worry about taking care of yourself too.
I know exactly how you feel. After having my first baby I felt as if the old me was lost and I was having a hard time identifying with my new role as a mother. Your going through the baby blues. If you need to cry allow yourself to cry and release those emotions. Your doing everything you are supposed to do as a new mommy. Be sure to get out of the house and get fresh air. Bundle up baby and go for a stroll. It will make you feel better.
All of this sounds completely normal. I think the majority of us feel hopeless, sad and ugly the first couple of months. TRUST me when I say everything will slowly start to get better! Your nipples will hurt less also. Once you start to get the hang of motherhood and learning your baby's schedule you'll have more time to put effort into dressing better and working on your hygiene lol. Don't be discouraged mama it's all part of the newborn phase
Awe honey it's ok and totally normal!!! As far as your nipples hurting I thought that coconut oil worked better for me the those overpriced lotions like lanolin!!! Also I would put a small Tupperware container of the oil in the fridge and use a little q-tip to apply to the breast pad it always felt so good on my nipples. I feel like sometimes there's a thin line between the baby blues and PPD so if you're feeling really down u can always call your ob and maybe they can help with either meds or maybe finding a new moms group that meets up. That will also help force u and baby to get out of the house for a little bit. And as other suggested take the help when needed. That's great your SO and mom are around to help out and support u through this roller coaster of a new life called "motherhood". If you're ever looking for someone to talk to u can always pm me!!! I'm here for u if u need to talk/vent whatever!!! Good luck and congrats on the new baby. Sounds like you're doing a great job!!!! Just push through the discomfort of nursing and by 6-8 weeks it likely will no longer hurt. Nursing because a breeze for me around that time!!!

Take a deep breath mama! It's just hormones. Take it easy and be kind to yourself! You've only given birth a few days ago! ?

Nipple wise - get some lanolin. It helps a lot. They will be sensitive for the next few weeks I'm afraid but the pain will decrease each day ?

Momma...it WILL be ok! This is all new and your body just went through a lot! Your hormones are still trying to balance out.
Talk about how you feel to your husband or mom...your mom may help you out tremendously because she has also been through the change.
Advice on the breast use some nipple creams and don't feel bad about wearing nursing pads...I wore them up until we stopped bf at 1yr.
Don't be afraid to ask for help :)
