24 Week Movements
So I am a FTM, am 24+4 weeks today, and while I have definitely been feeling the baby moving around for a few weeks now I have yet to feel any really strong kicks. My husband is also starting to get discouraged because he can't feel the baby move from outside yet either. I guess my question is, is this normal or should I be concerned? The baby always seems to be moving around when the doppler is used during appointments but I just feel like I should be feeling more by now.

Every pregnancy is different and every baby is different. My husband didn't feel much outside movement from my previous two pregnancies until I was past 30 weeks. This time he was able to feel baby move at 18+3.

I've heard women on here talk about not feeling outside movement later on in pregnancy due to anterior placentas. I don't know much about it but maybe they can tell you at your next ultrasound.

Thanks for the replies ladies...I actually already know that I don't have an anterior placenta based on the results of my last ultrasound. It is posterior. I just hope that everything is ok, I am a worrier and have several high-risk factors already so I guess I am always on alert.
