Had my growth scan today and baby boy is measuring 5lbs 6oz and from what I have read that's kind of small for exactly 36 weeks. Which is strange cuz I have been measuring 41 weeks for the past two doctor visits. I also have GD this pregnancy. Is that pretty small for 36 weeks?

It's small but not worrisome small at all. My little girl was measuring 5lbs 10oz at 36w4d and in the 30th percentile. My doctor told me while she's small it's still considered perfectly fine

My son was only 4lbs 15oz at 36 weeks...his last scan is tomorrow and im 38 weeks i get induced friday when im 39 weeks because they said he small

I had a lot of extra fluid with my sons pregnancy having GD so could be why your measuring bigger XX

Thanks everyone! I just got a little nervous when the tech lady said he was on the smaller side for 36 weeks.

I was 37+3 when I had Kash and he was 5lbs 12oz. His brothers were 5lbs 15oz and 6lbs 1oz and I was 38 weeks with them so small babies is the norm for me. But they all are healthy with no issues.
