Have you tried swaddling? I know if my son won't sleep in his bassinet we swaddle him and then he falls asleep.

I sleep my daughter in the rock n play right now. I think it helps that it's not a big open space

Maybe try a cotton swaddle. The polyester ones do get really hot. Will he take a pacifier? White noise can also help.

Our son loves to be swaddled. I use a cotton swaddle blanket and If he seems to warm, I only dress him in a onsie and socks under the swaddle, then I put him in his rock and play and he's good to go. If I try putting him to sleep anywhere else, he wakes up within like 20 min.

Yes he takes a pacifier but doesn't seem to help! I'll have to try the other swaddlers thank you!

I have to swaddle at night. Cotton one with just a onesie on.

Also try putting a shirt you've worn with him. Like for him to lay on. Might help with having your scent.

My son is 6 weeks and wouldn't sleep in his bassinet either, he always wanted to be held. Turns out he needed a brighter night light and noise to sleep. He was in the nicu and it was never dark or quiet in there so I guess he was used to it. Maybe it's something unrelated to swaddling that your little one needs?

Struggled to get my son to sleep anywhere except for my arms. I found that when I swaddle himbi should only swaddle around his waist he likes his arms to be free and he needs a night light. He does still cry at times when I put him down but it is so much better now

Change diaper, Swaddle them, feed them, lay them on your chest until they fall asleep then lay them in the same position in the crib or play pack. Good luck momma!
